Teresa Barriente

Teresa decided to become a teacher in order to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. She has been a teacher for over 14 years in a variety of educational settings and she has discovered that getting to know her students and tailoring her lessons to each individual student's needs are the keys to reaching them all. She has a variety of tools at her disposal to make learning engaging thanks to her training and passion in inquiry-based learning, Responsive Classrooms, STEAM, and theater. In her spare time, Teresa loves to read, write songs, and bake with her husband and son.
